"08.04.1972. That was the date I arrived in Indore. So did the field of Speech and Hearing. I was young then, so was the field of Speech and Hearing. Just 7 years old. In these 38 years, the field has rapidly grown to new heights. So have I, though not as rapidly. Gate crashing and bending rules to achieve goals has never been my cup of tea. I have taken my time to grow, but grown I have, slowly, steadily. I have kept abreast of latest technologies, have acquired latest equipment , to become the only centre in central India to try to reach those heights, to make a complete Raga of seven notes - speech, vocie, language, diagnostic audiology, rehabilitative audiology, educational audiology and cochlear implant. It has not been easy. From single channel pure tone audiometer to cochlear implants, it has been a very steep climb. But from there I can see newer heights and climb those heights, we shall, together."
